You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time

|When starting a Carmen session you are presented with error messages that tell you that you don't have exclusive access to the database at this time.|
This message will appear several times then Carmen will open but will not operate properly.
|If you have Adobe Acrobat version 7 installed, the feature PDFmaker is attempting to add icons to the Carmen menu. Carmen does not allow outside application to modify it's interface.|
|Turn off the option in PDFmaker to add icons to Access applications. To do this, open the Control Panel and click "Add/Remove Programs". Select Adobe Acrobat 7 and click the "Change/Remove" button. Select to modify the installation. Under "Create PDF" expand the PDFMaker group. Deslect the option for the Access add-in.|
